Greencarrier - Official sponsor for the Swedish participation in Expo 2010 Shanghai
As an official sponsor for the Swedish participation in Expo 2010 Greencarrier supplies environmentally friendly transports to the Expo.
In connection with the transports to Expo 2010 in Shanghai we offer C02-compensated alternatives with all transport modes. Our sponsorship means that we cover shipping cost for transports approved by the Swedish committee. For all other shipments we offer reduced prices on C02-compensated transports.
The C02-compensation is made via Tricorona and their wind farm project in Zhangwu in Kina. So far Greencarrier has offset 78 tonnes C02 to compensate for the transports to Expo 2010.
In cooperation with our local office in Shanghai we provide these services:
- Sea transports FCL, LCL, weekly service from:
- Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö and Helsingborg to Shanghai
- Transit time approx. 32-38 days
- Air and courier service from:
- Landvetter, Arlanda and Sturup to Shanghai
- Transports to Shanghai from other countries than Sweden
- Inland freight in Sweden, load planning and customs clearance
- Delivery from Shanghai port/airport to bonded warehouse in Shanghai
- Preparation and support with required documentation for customs clearance in China.
Note: Only the nominated companies are entitled to handle customs clearance and transports from the bonded warehouse to the exhibition and within the exhibition. This concerns both import and export. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to plan your transports. For sea as well as air transports you need to give notice to the nominated agent in Shanghai at least 45 days before the goods should be on the exhibition area.

Our Shanghai office was opened in 2006. We also have offices in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Hong Kong. In total we are 275 employees at 22 offices in 9 countries.
